12. Glaucus Atlanticus

This Pokemon-like creature is also known as the sea swallow, blue angel, blue glaucus, blue dragon, blue sea slug and blue ocean slug. The glaucus atlanticus can be found throughout the waters all over the world, and several that have been documented, were found in the eastern and southern coasts of South Africa, Europe, as well as the eastern coast of Australia and Mozambique. While they live in the open sea, they tend to wash up on the shore thus they can also be found on beaches.
