5. The Love of Boxes and Tight Spaces

If there is a box, a hamper or any other tight place, there is a good chance your cat will be sitting in it.

Why does your cat love tight spaces?

There are a couple of possible reasons but the most likely is it provides a safe, warm place for your kitty. Being confined in a tight space like a box reduces the risk of being attacked from the side. As well, a small, enclosed space like this will provide heat for the kitty.

Safety and warmth. Two things cats love so the box is the perfect environment for them.

Also, remember when you were a kid at Christmas and ended up having more fun with the box than the present itself – well, yeah, cats are like that too.
