9. The Meow, Purr and Hiss
Cats are very vocal animals. They have different ways to let you know what they need. A purr means a contented cat, a meow can mean a lot of different things, and hiss comes from a very angry cat. Unfortunately for the cat lover, felines can change the frequency of these vocalizations so they can make you do what they want. Think of a baby crying, the cat meows to let you know she needs food, a snuggle, or a good rub – and fast!
