Wild Video – Hagfish Slime

Below is a quick video to show you what the slime of the hagfish is like.  Notice how sticky and structurally strong the gelatinous material actually is.  Enjoy the video!

    Hmmm! It does kind of look like a leech. I don`t know of any leeches that can make water into slimy jelly! Although leeches do have some interesting features as well but we will save that for another day!
