7. Mantis Shrimp
What do you get when you splice a praying mantis with a shrimp? You get a mantis shrimp! And it isn’t just any mantis shrimp, it’s a very multi-colored mantis shrimp! Found in the Indian river near Fort Pierce in Florida, USA. It may seem like a rare sea creature because of its color, but there are over 450 species of this crustacean, with a varying color range from the usual brown to the multi-colored one that you can see in the photo.
