Funding for Your Pets – GoGetFunding.com

Young woman with dog and cat.

We all know that our pets are a major part of our family. In some cases they are the only family we have. They are loyal, loving and will never turn your back on you…well, unless you have a cat :).

Unfortunately, there may come a time when your favourite family member gets sick. It is an emotionally draining time as nobody likes to see their little ball of fur in pain. Adding to this pain is getting the estimate from the vet to heal your little buddy. You can’t put a price on love and you are willing to pay whatever it takes to heal them but sometimes the money just isn’t there.

This is exactly why sites like GoGetFunding exist.

GoGetFunding.com is a crowd funding website specifically designed to help you raise money for any cause that matters to you, including a sick family pet. As you can see below, they have a very high success rate with most pet funding campaigns getting more than a 100% funded.

I love these types of sites as it restores my faith in humanity. People from all around the world will rally around your sick family member to help get them the care they require to continue living  a long and healthy life.

If you are still confused about how this whole thing works, here is a quick run down.

  1. Create an account on GoGetFunding.com
  2. Make sure you have a Stripe or PayPal account, so you can receive funds
  3. Create your campaign page – be sure to post a picture of your awesome pet and give a nice back story explaining what has happened and what you need to make sure your furry friend continues living a happy and healthy life
  4. Add in your funding goal (i.e. how much money is required to heal your pet)
  5. Promote your campaign

That is basically it. Put your campaign out on Facebook, send it to your friends and try to get the word out about your new GoGetFunding Campaign. People from around the globe will see your campaign and will donate a small amount to help out. Soon enough, you will be able to afford your treatment for your favourite family member.

It has truly been an incredibly humbling experience to see friends, acquaintances, and even complete strangers come forth in such an amazing show of support. – Carmen Roth

Although, crowd funding is relatively new for funding personal campaigns (it is huge for funding business ideas), I think this is an amazing concept. It is just incredible to see complete strangers come together to help out in your time of need.

So if you find yourself in a situation with a sick pet but no way to pay for the vet bill, I recommend checking out GoGetFunding.com and try to raise money this way. After all, it could help turn an awful situation into a wonderful experience.

As well, I recommend taking a moment to check out other people in need of support. You can see all of the pet campaigns by going to: http://gogetfunding.com/projects/category/animals-pets.

If you have the time and funds, I encourage you to donate and help save the life of somebody’s whole world.
