If you love getting your daily animal fix at Wild Facts then you will want to check out a relatively new blog called Animal A Day! You may be able to tell by the title that it is a very similar concept to Wild Facts.  Lauren takes the time to provide information about a new animal every day.  She even works on weekends which makes me feel like a little bit of a slacker 🙂

I know what some of you are thinking.  Why in the world are you promoting a competitive website.  Basically, my goal is to educate people about the interesting qualities of wildlife throughout the world which will hopefully make people aware of the importance of natural ecosystems. What Lauren is doing over at Animal A Day is a great source of information and will help create awareness of the animals we share this planet with.

Animal A Day is a little different than Wild Facts since Lauren discuss animals of all shapes and sizes from anywhere in the world.  I know that doesn’t sound different but she even highlights animals that once roamed the earth millions of years ago.  You won’t get too many facts on extinct animals here at Wild Facts.

Trust me when I tell you that you will not be disappointed if you start following Animal A Day! Lauren has an educational background in Library and Information Science so you know the posts are very well written.  Her love and passion for wildlife shows through in her writing and makes every post an entertaining read.  I encourage you to head over there now and support another Wildlife Blogger.  I have added a link on the sidebar and I will be promoting Animal A Day in my Featured Site Section so you will always be able to find your way there.
